- Vibe Easy lover
- Variety Red
Why we love this bottle
Swerwer is the personal project of Jasper Wickens, who learned his craft working alongside some of the most influential names in the Swartland. He farms older vineyards scattered across the Paardeberg and its foothills, parcels that don’t give high yields but offer real character. His approach is steady and hands-on: organic principles, gentle extractions and a focus on letting each variety keep its own shape in the blend.
The mix of Cinsault, Grenache and Tinta Barocca reflects the region’s older plantings and the way these grapes naturally work together in this climate. The wine has clarity, soft grip and a flow that feels effortless, all coming from fruit that is handled with restraint rather than technique.
We love it because it’s an easy, honest Swartland red that’s built with care and has real drinkability.
