Why we love this bottle

Querciabella has farmed organically in Maremma since the early nineties, long before the region became known for quality. Their focus has always been simple: healthy soils, steady vineyard work and no need for correction in the cellar. Mongrana is one of these wines, a blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot grown along the Tuscan coast, where warm days are balanced by cooling sea breezes.

The wine carries that landscape clearly. It has open fruit, gentle structure and an easy flow from start to finish. Nothing feels pushed or heavy, and the varieties sit naturally together.

We love it because it shows how complete a coastal Maremma blend can be when the work is consistent. Calm, balanced and made for real drinking.
