Why we love this bottle

A village Chardonnay from Rully, the northernmost appellation of the Côte Chalonnaise. Prosper Maufoux has been working with this appellation since their founding in 1860. Pale gold. Ripe pear, lemon zest, white peach and a subtle buttery note from lees contact. Discreet oak, peppery and toasty on the palate. Good structure and backbone with a clean, mineral finish. Honest Burgundy that delivers genuine quality without asking you to apologise for the price.
