Why we love this bottle

Musella is one of the historic estates east of Verona, set within a protected natural park where vineyards, olive trees and woodland sit side by side. This environment creates cooler pockets of air throughout the day, keeping the fruit steady even in warmer seasons. The estate has worked biodynamically for years, not as a trend but as a way to maintain balance in the vineyards and avoid pushing the grapes beyond what the site naturally gives.

Their Valpolicella Superiore reflects that approach clearly. The extraction is gentle, the élevage is measured and the wine stays close to the character of the local varieties — cherry-driven, lightly savoury and held together by fine tannins. Nothing is amplified or forced.

We love it because the wine feels settled and sure of itself. The fruit, the tannins and the rhythm of the palate come together with the kind of balance that only comes from careful work.
