Why we love this bottle

Álvar de Dios Hernández grew up in El Pego on the southern edge of the Toro appellation. He founded his own winery in 2014 and expanded into Arribes del Duero in 2015.

Camino de los Arrieros, ‘the path of the muledrivers’, is the village wine of Villadepera, a small settlement at 850 metres on the northern edge of Arribes del Duero. A field blend from 36 small parcels.

We love it because it is one of the most honest and alive wines in the drop!
