Why we love this bottle

Le Ragnaie is known for working some of the highest and coolest vineyards in Montalcino. These parcels sit well above the warmer central slopes and give Sangiovese a naturally sharper edge, with slower ripening and more definition. Riccardo Campinoti has built the estate’s reputation on this altitude-driven style, focusing on clean farming and long, gentle fermentations that keep the fruit precise and the structure fine.

This Rosso reflects that philosophy clearly. It’s bright, pure and composed, with a clarity that comes straight from the vineyard. There’s no heaviness, no extra weight added in the cellar—just Sangiovese shaped by height, light and patience.
