Why we love this bottle

Fattoria San Lorenzo is a third-generation biodynamic estate in Montecarotto in the Marche region of central Italy. Founded by Enrico Crognaletti, passed to his son Gino, and today run by Natalino Crognaletti. Natalino is often credited with proving, almost single-handedly, that Verdicchio, long dismissed as pleasant but simple, can age like serious white Burgundy. The farming is certified organic and biodynamic; interventions are minimal.

We love it because the ‘entry-level’ wine here would be the headline act at most other estates.
