Why we love this bottle
Cantine Carpentiere is a family estate in Corato on the Murge plateau of northern Puglia. Brothers Luigi and Vincenzo Carpentiere farm at over 450 metres above sea level on karstic limestone soils in the Alta Murgia National Park, with indigenous varieties and hand harvesting.
We love it because Nero di Troia is one of Italy’s great underdog grapes, and Carpentiere is one of its most convincing advocates.
