Ahrens Family Wines, Koffieklip OVC 2023

  • Vibe Feeling fancy
  • Variety White
Why we love this bottle

Albert Ahrens trained in Champagne, Priorat and the Rhône Valley before founding his own label in Paarl in 2008. His philosophy: ‘Every wine needs an address. Grape varieties don’t define an address. Don’t drink varieties but drink an address.’ Every wine is named after the specific terroir or geology of its site. Production is tiny; typically 1,000 to 3,000 bottles per wine.

We love it because Koffieklip is one of the most distinctive and honest expressions of old-vine Chenin Blanc in the Swartland.
