Why we love this bottle

AWA Shiso is ALTER’s Japanese inspired cuvée, created as a sparkling alternative for moments when you want something dry, aromatic and precise. The base is built from organic green shiso grown in open soil, combined with a blend of citrus, spices and gentle botanicals that are all distilled without alcohol. This keeps the aromatics sharp and clean instead of soft or sweet. The drink is then blended with fresh verjus and white grape elements to give structure, lift and a straight, dry finish. The light bubbles bring everything together without adding weight.

We love it because it is refreshing, savoury and clearly defined, with the sort of clarity and balance you expect from serious craft rather than flavouring.
